The Look – Red Plunge Top

I’ve been super in love with the plunge top look lately, but always find myself second guessing the look because it can easily go into the realm of looking a bit ‘trashy’.  This top from Talina Hermann has the perfect ‘plunge’ ending at  just the right spot making it still a chic look.  I love to pair a top like this with a jacket, especially a tuxedo jacket which has the same straight lines and cuts mimicking the top.  This all just bring the entire look together in a way that is still sexy, but very much chic and put together. Obviously with a top like this sticky tape is a major must, and I just swear by the Hollywood Fashion Secrets Tape since they help keep the plunge and my girls in place! To keep the symmetry of the plunge and the jacket I added this great long necklace from Accessory Mercado, I think it brings the look together perfectly without over doing it.

The Look – Versace Inspired

Versace, Versace, Versace, who doesn’t love Versace!? The super famous brand had a total comeback this past year and I couldn’t be happier with the amazing designs, that even though are more modern, still don’t shy away from their famous over the top prints and gaudy details.

That’s why Versace is my inspiration for today’s look.  I just absolutely feel in love with this Versace inspired jacket by 74th Terrace, and had to wear it in a very Versace fashion! I decided to pair this super fun jacket with simple black jeans from 7 For All Mankind and a black Zara top, but added a ton of gold detail to get that super rich Versace look.  I went with my Gucci Ursula Patent Leather Sandals, (which I’m so in love with I would honestly sleep with them on if that was normal) and my YSL Monogramme Crossbody bag.  I just love this look and honestly can’t wait to wear it again! Oh yeah, and bold red lips are a super super MUST for a Versace inspired look like this!  Hope you girls loved it!

The Look – Trench Coat

DSC_0217

A  trench coat is such an easy and classic staple piece for this time of the year and all the way until early spring depending where you live.  I’ve had this tan trench coat from Kenneth Cole for years now (and I mean years), and every fall/winter I bring it out for those super windy or rainy days.  This trench coat never fails me and it goes with pretty much anything! This look in particular is a more casual look, with a little fun added by a touch of color and my 7 For All Mankind Leopard Jeans that I’ve worn  way too much lately! I think I need an intervention, I just love them!  Anyways, for this look I chose to add red as my little pop of color as I love the combo black/tan/red – I added in the red by wearing my cross-body Gucci Soho Leather Disco Bag (which is great when you are  busy and on the go!) and my super, and I do mean SUPER, comfortable Tory Burch Calf Hair Jess Flats.  By the way I’m not one of those girls who don’t believe in mixing brown and black.  I’m super ok with it and will do it a lot, as long as the brown isn’t a super dark brown…because then it just looks weird!  If you mix a lighter brown with black I actually think it can look super chic and put together.  Leopard prints are a great example of how brown and black can look amazing together especially when the brown is just the right shade. It was a really windy day here in Orlando, Florida and this look got me through an entire day of running around and doing errands.  Just perfect. 🙂

The Look – Monday Chic

The holidays are always super stressful times.  Between running around trying to get everything ready for parties and juggling our families in town, its needless to say we can get a little lazy with our daily outfits and just want to relax for a bit.  I honestly tend to be a ‘repeat outfits’ offender pretty often this time of year, because honestly its a lot of work to look cute when you are super busy!  On a Monday after an intense weekend between Christmas and New Years, there is nothing I’d rather do then wear something a little more basic but still super fashionable, and in this case Monday Chic . 🙂  I found this adorable crop top at Lulus.com for only $20!  You could easily pair this with a fitted pencil skirt (like this look I posted a few days ago, http://wp.me/p2Qe3d-i6 ), or if you are more on the go like I am today, a nice pair of high-waisted jeans is always a winner.  I chose to tie a  jean shirt around my waist since it adds a little dimension to the outfit and it also kind of takes away the focus from the mid drift area, and I’m pretty sure that’s not where most of us want people to focus! haha  I adore this look and I’ll most definitely be running around wearing it on another Monday in the near future, like I said I am a constant ‘repeat outfits’ offender.  This look might just make you fall in love with Monday’s.
