The Look – Red Plunge Top

I’ve been super in love with the plunge top look lately, but always find myself second guessing the look because it can easily go into the realm of looking a bit ‘trashy’.  This top from Talina Hermann has the perfect ‘plunge’ ending at  just the right spot making it still a chic look.  I love to pair a top like this with a jacket, especially a tuxedo jacket which has the same straight lines and cuts mimicking the top.  This all just bring the entire look together in a way that is still sexy, but very much chic and put together. Obviously with a top like this sticky tape is a major must, and I just swear by the Hollywood Fashion Secrets Tape since they help keep the plunge and my girls in place! To keep the symmetry of the plunge and the jacket I added this great long necklace from Accessory Mercado, I think it brings the look together perfectly without over doing it.

What I’m Loving Right Now : Spring Fashion

My list of things I love in fashion are really endless, with ever-changing trends and new fun things a list like this can go on for days.  But I’ve narrowed down the few trends, and items that I’m truly obsessing over this very minute. With spring soon approaching, florals, pastels and more feminine pieces are super on my radar.

Heres my little wish list:

The Look – Pleated Skirt and Bright Pink Lips

DSC_0554

Pleated skirts have been in style for some time now, the look is just so chic and when you pair it with a nice button up blouse and high heels, you just can’t go wrong!  There are so many ways you can rock a pleated skirt, you can go short or long depending on the look you are going for and the occasion, but regardless, it’s an easy go to look that will make you feel chic and fashionable no matter what!  For this look I opted for a leather pleated skirt and a ( you can’t go wrong with) leopard top.  Leopard, when worn right and not overdone, is just an instant chic. I love it. Add to this a nice pair of black pumps, gold accessories and a bold lipstick…and you’re ready to go!

Now, let me tell you guys about Bite Beauty Lipstick!  At my most recent trip to Sephora I decided to take a peek at the Bite Beauty collection of lipsticks, which are known to have super high pigmentation while leaving your lips extremely smooth! While at Sephora I feel in love with the Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Cream in Moscato(the super bright pink  lipstick from this look).  The lipstick looks like it would be lip gloss like in texture, however,  it’s not at all! In fact, it’s a cream-to-powder matte lip color which has a combination of butters, waxes and oils leaving your lips matte but moisturized – oh, and they are super super long-lasting! Perfection.  I’ll create a video review later so you guys can really get a feel for what they are like, but I’m more than in love and will 100% invest in more colors.  By the way, the colors they have available are beyond gorgeous!! Go to Sephora like now, and try them on! 🙂

The Look – Trench Coat

DSC_0217

A  trench coat is such an easy and classic staple piece for this time of the year and all the way until early spring depending where you live.  I’ve had this tan trench coat from Kenneth Cole for years now (and I mean years), and every fall/winter I bring it out for those super windy or rainy days.  This trench coat never fails me and it goes with pretty much anything! This look in particular is a more casual look, with a little fun added by a touch of color and my 7 For All Mankind Leopard Jeans that I’ve worn  way too much lately! I think I need an intervention, I just love them!  Anyways, for this look I chose to add red as my little pop of color as I love the combo black/tan/red – I added in the red by wearing my cross-body Gucci Soho Leather Disco Bag (which is great when you are  busy and on the go!) and my super, and I do mean SUPER, comfortable Tory Burch Calf Hair Jess Flats.  By the way I’m not one of those girls who don’t believe in mixing brown and black.  I’m super ok with it and will do it a lot, as long as the brown isn’t a super dark brown…because then it just looks weird!  If you mix a lighter brown with black I actually think it can look super chic and put together.  Leopard prints are a great example of how brown and black can look amazing together especially when the brown is just the right shade. It was a really windy day here in Orlando, Florida and this look got me through an entire day of running around and doing errands.  Just perfect. 🙂

Must Have Holiday Shoes – Starting at $35!

Holiday season has officially begun and so has the time to plan for all those super fun holiday parties and events that you’ll have to go to in the next month.  I’m a huge lover of shoes, like most of us girls, and when in doubt there is nothing easier to wear then a little black dress and some killer heels! Here are a few of the shoes that I’m completely obsessing over right now and would make any outfit look like a million bucks – even if your dress wasn’t!
