The Look – Red Plunge Top

I’ve been super in love with the plunge top look lately, but always find myself second guessing the look because it can easily go into the realm of looking a bit ‘trashy’.  This top from Talina Hermann has the perfect ‘plunge’ ending at  just the right spot making it still a chic look.  I love to pair a top like this with a jacket, especially a tuxedo jacket which has the same straight lines and cuts mimicking the top.  This all just bring the entire look together in a way that is still sexy, but very much chic and put together. Obviously with a top like this sticky tape is a major must, and I just swear by the Hollywood Fashion Secrets Tape since they help keep the plunge and my girls in place! To keep the symmetry of the plunge and the jacket I added this great long necklace from Accessory Mercado, I think it brings the look together perfectly without over doing it.

The Look – Edgy Long Dress

fashion blog, best fashion blog, best fashion blogger, ananda saba, super fashionable, super fashionable blog, brazilian bloggerA long  dress is not something a girl gets to wear very often, most of the time they are either super casual summer dresses or too glam and really only appropriate for a black tie event.  So when I come across a dress thats just the perfect mix of fun and glam, I’m all for it.  I just fell in love with this dress from Nasty Gal, its super edgy, sexy and a little bit glam all in one.  This dress has perfect cutouts on the sides, a beautiful back and a slit in the front that is just the right height.  Since the dress is all black I decided to make it even more edgy by adding some really fun accessories.  My statement necklace with spikes is from Zara and it took this dress to another level, you really don’t need anything else (earrings, bracelets) when you have a necklace and dress like this on – you definitely don’t want to overdo the look.  I then added my, oh so loved and rarely used, Maison du Posh clutch.  Red lips…always a must with an outfit like this!

What I’m Loving Right Now : Spring Fashion

My list of things I love in fashion are really endless, with ever-changing trends and new fun things a list like this can go on for days.  But I’ve narrowed down the few trends, and items that I’m truly obsessing over this very minute. With spring soon approaching, florals, pastels and more feminine pieces are super on my radar.

Heres my little wish list:

The Look – Black and Blue

DSC_0749

Sometimes when I’m getting ready for a night out I start my look by picking a color I want to wear, and funny enough most of the time that color is black! Well, thanks to Frankie B. and her amazing jeans, I can easily add a little pop of color to my love affair with black.  I’m a huge fan of her designs, they are super fun, trendy and sexy all in one (Here’s a link to another recent post where I had Frankie B’s on http://wp.me/p2Qe3d-nf).  If you are ever walking around Bloomingdale’s one of these days, just stop by the jeans section, pick one up and try it on…the fit is awesome and you will fall in love! This pair in particular caught my eye right away – where else can you find cool two-tone jeans?! I went all black with this look and just continued to add my blue pop of color by the accents on my BCBG necklace.  For a look like this I didn’t want to go crazy with dark lips, so I opted for a more ‘nude’ look.  This is an easy, can’t go wrong, edgy and sexy look for a fun night out. Hope you love it.

The Look – Versace Inspired

Versace, Versace, Versace, who doesn’t love Versace!? The super famous brand had a total comeback this past year and I couldn’t be happier with the amazing designs, that even though are more modern, still don’t shy away from their famous over the top prints and gaudy details.

That’s why Versace is my inspiration for today’s look.  I just absolutely feel in love with this Versace inspired jacket by 74th Terrace, and had to wear it in a very Versace fashion! I decided to pair this super fun jacket with simple black jeans from 7 For All Mankind and a black Zara top, but added a ton of gold detail to get that super rich Versace look.  I went with my Gucci Ursula Patent Leather Sandals, (which I’m so in love with I would honestly sleep with them on if that was normal) and my YSL Monogramme Crossbody bag.  I just love this look and honestly can’t wait to wear it again! Oh yeah, and bold red lips are a super super MUST for a Versace inspired look like this!  Hope you girls loved it!

The Look – Silver Shorts

DSC_0360

Happy Friday fashionistas! I’m so happy the weekend is here and I’m very much ready for a fun and relaxing few days ahead with family and friends.  Here in Florida the weather has been very up and down between being super cold (for us Floridians) and pretty hot for winter time.  So for today’s look I’m going rocking silver shorts!  If you are up north you can easily wear this outfit by adding some black stockings and a nice coat – but here in Florida I can easily survive a Friday night sans coat and stockings.  I love these high-waisted silver shorts by 74th Terrace, they are perfect for a fun night out and they are super affordable! Yay! With this look I wore a backless long sleeve bodysuit from Lulus.com, and my super trusty booties from Stuart Weitzman.  I didn’t want to over do the look with a lot of jewelry because I really just wanted the focus to be on the shorts, so I  opted for these awesome ear cuffs I got from Nastygal and a simple silver ring.  Hope you guys love it and hope you have a sparkly and fantastic weekend!

The Look – Trench Coat

DSC_0217

A  trench coat is such an easy and classic staple piece for this time of the year and all the way until early spring depending where you live.  I’ve had this tan trench coat from Kenneth Cole for years now (and I mean years), and every fall/winter I bring it out for those super windy or rainy days.  This trench coat never fails me and it goes with pretty much anything! This look in particular is a more casual look, with a little fun added by a touch of color and my 7 For All Mankind Leopard Jeans that I’ve worn  way too much lately! I think I need an intervention, I just love them!  Anyways, for this look I chose to add red as my little pop of color as I love the combo black/tan/red – I added in the red by wearing my cross-body Gucci Soho Leather Disco Bag (which is great when you are  busy and on the go!) and my super, and I do mean SUPER, comfortable Tory Burch Calf Hair Jess Flats.  By the way I’m not one of those girls who don’t believe in mixing brown and black.  I’m super ok with it and will do it a lot, as long as the brown isn’t a super dark brown…because then it just looks weird!  If you mix a lighter brown with black I actually think it can look super chic and put together.  Leopard prints are a great example of how brown and black can look amazing together especially when the brown is just the right shade. It was a really windy day here in Orlando, Florida and this look got me through an entire day of running around and doing errands.  Just perfect. 🙂

The Look – Black and White

When in doubt go black and white.  Seriously, it’s always an easy go to look – always! You can easily pair great black and white items and they will almost always look great and chic. This time I wanted to add a fun touch to my look so instead of wearing black or white pants I decided to wear a fun ‘snake’ print pair from 7 For all Mankind. I love these jeans by the way, they are extremely comfortable and look super cute on!  Whenever I go black and white I always opt for silver jewelry instead of gold.  I think a black and white look just screams for silver tones! I also always go for darker lips when I’m wearing black and white, whether it’s plum or dark red I just always go darker.  I think dark lips add a nice pop of color without fighting the look.  Hope you guys love it and hope you had a fantastic weekend.

The Look – New Year’s Eve

New Years Eve for me is all about getting glammed up and celebrating the beginning of a new year and a new adventure.  I always tend to pick a dress that’s fun and sparkly so I can start the new year feeling just like that – fun and sparkly! 🙂  This year it took me sometime to find the perfect dress, I was honestly looking for a couple of months and had one lined up already, but then I walked into All Saints and it was all over.  I feel in love with this dress!  I adore that store and literally never walk out of it empty-handed, it’s just so my style.  Since the dress is so sparkly I chose to pair it with simple accessories.  I opted for an earring and a bracelet that complimented the tones of the dress and a pair of black heels and a black clutch.  It was a super fun night and I’m so excited to what this year will bring.

I want to apologize because I know I’m a week late on this post showing you guys what I wore for NYE, but honestly the holiday’s were crazy here at my house.  Better late then never, right ladies!?  My mother just moved here from Brazil, and of course as the amazing daughter I am, I had to stop my life a bit to get my mom’s life together.  Now she is all settled in and I’m honestly so excited for 2014! The year already started off incredible and just knowing I have my mom around the corner makes this year look even brighter already. ❤  This past year was definitely a huge adventure in my life as I finally married the most incredible man who has ever walked this earth! 🙂  I feel so lucky and I’m so excited for a new year of married life with him.  Plain and simple, I have so much hope for 2014 and I wish all of you the most incredible, beautiful and exciting year of your life.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! ❤
