All About The Print

So when I was pregnant I bought a few pieces of clothing that I knew wouldn’t fit me or look good on me for a little while, and they sort of served as motivation to get back into shape.  Well, this dress was one of those pieces. I’m all about the print and especially a cool, unique one. This dress caught my eye right away because of its super fun mirror style print. The length is great for a little date night and the fact that it’s skin-tight made it for a serious “get back into shape” challenge.  When I bought dress from ASOS a few months ago it was full price, but now its an amazing $18! Yeah….cray.  So get on it!

Even though this dress does fit me now (yay!) I still used a little help from Jockey Skimmies to keep everything in place and to now show any seams in such a tight dress.  Skimmies are great! They aren’t as tight as spanx so you can actually breath, and they do a great job of just smoothing everything out. Definitely a piece you want to have in your wardrobe!

Cool Summer Accessories

I love cool accessories, and I specially love items that are unique and you just don’t see everywhere.  This summer I’m super obsessed and loving wood accessories!  They are just so unique and add huge touch of  ‘cool’ to any look.

I’m super in love with all the watches from JORD, they are beautifully made and come in a huge variety of styles. I opted for the Cora series in rose gold, which is the perfect size for a woman and has a beautiful face with Swarovski crystal markers.  It’s just such a nice addition to any of my summer wardrobes and they are super well made!

My sunglasses are from Woody! They are all made of bamboo which is not only an awesome look, but they actually float on water. So fun for a day at the pool or beach, I love them.  They also come in a ton of styles, mine is the Witmark, which is actually on sale right now!!

Summer Boho Fellings

You all know by now how much I love a flowy dress, especially during the summer months! This dress from BCBG was a must have for me this summer, its so flowy and light for the hot florida days and has that boho feel that i just love.  I dressed this up a little for a luncheon I went to, but this dress can easily be transitioned into a casual day look or a more glammed up night look. I would totally wear this with some super trendy gladiator flats during the day and a fun fringe cross body or for a night look I would go with funky black heels and a black clutch.  So many ways you can wear this dress. Just perfect (except for my white legs…I need a tan asap!!!).

Mother Daughter Moment

I just absolutely love taking pictures with my little princes, and I feel so lucky that I have this blog which makes it so much easier for me to capture these little special moments.  This pictures were actually taken about a month ago close to Mother’s Day…but I’m only now getting around to posting them. It was so funny shooting the little princess this day, she wasn’t in the best of moods and my sisters were trying the entire time to entertain her – only to get grumpy looks from V. haha. The most hilarious picture to me is the “family portrait” we atempted….she looks like she wants nothing to do with it!!  But of course, once Daddy took her to get some pictures she was all smiles and happy.  She’s such a daddy’s girl already!

Delta Chair & 4moms

Since princess V. arrived working on my blog has become harder and harder, especially because she’s a true little princess – always needing to be held and can’t sleep during the day.  I’m sure this is an issues most first time moms struggle with, but somehow we have to make it work.  I know that for me, my princess is always first which means a lot of other little things (including myself) are left to the side until some time comes along where she’s entertained without me or sleeping.  Regardless, the fact that I haven’t gotten a manicure in literally a month is insanity to me – definitely not something I’m used to! haha. But its ok, and its all part of this little journey with a baby.  They say it goes by so fast, so I’m definitely trying to enjoy and take in every moment! Like right now….as I’m writing this post little princess is sleeping in my arms and the laptop on my legs as I type. We just make it work. 🙂  What helps a lot is to have a good atmosphere for her and I.  I just love this chair from Delta and my 4Moms Mamaroo.  They have literally been two lifesaver in my quest to do it all.  Little V. loves her Mamarro and those are the few moments I get a little breather from holding her and can get some things done.

Two Piece Summer Outfit

Summer is finally here! Seriously love this time of the year, especially living in Florida, when summer rolls around it takes your quality of life to a whole other level. I seriously enjoy the outdoors, pool, lake, BBQ with friends…It’s perfect.  I’m so in love with everything about this two piece summer outfit. The two piece shorts and top are from H&M and if you know anything about me you know I die for this color.  I just think it makes anybody with any skin color look amazing and alive.  Add these super cute wedges from Shoedazzle.com that are a perfect pattern for summer and you got a look that I’ll be wearing a lot in the next few months! 🙂

Scarf Print Maxi

I’m sucker for a beautiful maxi dress and mostly for a beautiful maxi with a gorgeous print!  I’m super picky about prints (like really really picky), but the minute I saw this Eliza J. scarf print maxi dress I loved it! Snake Print Dress and Gladiators

Happy Friday loves! Hope everyone had a fantastic week.  I did, but I’m sure super ready for the weekend.  Its my little sister’s 12th birthday so it will be a weekend filled with family fun and days by the pool. Maybe it will be V’s pool debut…lets see!

I’m completely obsessed with this boho dress from Tobi, it’s a perfect little summer dress and can easily transition from day to night – I love versatile looks like this.  For this post I opted for a more dressed up look, but you could easily dress it down by pairing it with cute flats or sandals.
